Meltdown At Giant: Stafford Woman Arrested For Store Disturbance In May: Police

Police have identified and arrested a woman who assaulted a Giant check-out clerk in Stafford, officials said.

Jasmine Todd, 31, was arrested on July 10 for assault and battery and destruction of property, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

On May 18, Todd got violently angry with a check-out clerk and threw merchandise at the individual when they asked for Todd's identification, police said.

Law enforcement said they arrived at the scene just after Todd stormed out of the Giant, ruining displays, and leaving in her car that was parked in the fire lane.

Todd has a court date of August 11, authorities reported.
